Job Summary Employee will be responsible for the safe and efficient process of all warehouse duties. The employee will also comply with warehouse procedures and utilize proper paperwork, and will assist with warehouse inventories. Duties will also include the receiving/shipping of all in-bound and out-bound materials and packages. Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure all damaged units are repaired daily.
Ensure all finished goods meet or exceed customer's shipping requirements.
Ensure that all trailers inbound or outbound pass inspection
Complete trailer inspection form for all shipments.
Inspect all inbound and outbound shipments for damage.
Ensure that all trailer tires are chocked before loading or unloading.
Loading and unloading of all trailers in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of Pick Tickets, Bills of Lading, Work Orders, etc., as necessary.
Ensure all incoming shipments are complete and all paperwork is correct and completed.
Ensure that all deliveries are logged and delivered to the correct person.
Complete or assist in daily monthly and yearly inventories.
Sweep, and maintain warehouse in an orderly fashion within accordance to Third Party regulations/guidelines.
Ensure chocks and safety materials (Glad Locks, Load Locks, etc,) are stored properly.
Ensure Forklift(s) is maintained in a safe operating condition. (Daily/Weekly Inspections).
Maintain access to dock doors (snow removal, debris, etc.)
Assist with putting away night stock.
Assist co-workers where needed.
Qualifications and Skills
High-school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum two years of prior forklift experience
Must complete Parker Plastics Forklift Certification/License program within 90 days, if not already certified
